Dance
Each class offers a variety of dance techniques, including ballet, tap, jazz, creative movement and ethnic dance. Our dance program follows a strong, age-appropriate curriculum. Classes will be divided into levels. Level One - 3 year olds and 4 year olds new to the program. Level Two - 4 year olds with a year of experience and 5 year olds; Level Three - 6 year olds and up.
Gymnastics
Gymnastics classes are offered for 4-year olds and up in 12-week sessions. Basic tumbling, low-beam, vault & swing bar skills are taught as well as movement to music, balance and coordination. Students will be divided into ability levels by the instructor. Classes will be held on Monday evenings. No times and start date have been set for fall but you may call and sign up and we will notify you when we have the times set.
Preschool Arts
This class to expose will children ages 3-6 to the arts, from music, to dance, to theater, to the visual arts. Classes will meet Saturday mornings from 11 to 11:45. The main focus this year will be on visual arts and movement, but all the arts will be covered. The cost for the class is $35 per quarter.
Folk Dance
Throughout the school year, the Music Center will offer "Folk Dance Evenings" on select Sunday evenings. Everyone is invited to come and learn or teach a new folk dance in a fun and casual atmosphere. The Music Center hopes to increase understanding of world folk dance and to preserve this rich resource for future generations. Please call for more information
Spring Dance and Gymnastics Recitals
Early each May we present all of our dancers and gymnasts in recitals at the Charles Martin Auditorium in the Little Falls Community High School. These recitals are fully costumed and are open to the public. Dancers will order costumes for the recital in late December. The gymnasts will order costumes in February. There will be an extra charge for the costumes, we do try to keep the prices as low as possible.
