Our preschool dance classes follow a strong, age-appropriate dance curriculum. The program is designed to give young students an introduction to dance that covers basics in tap, ballet, jazz, creative movement, and yoga. Our goal is to help each student find a place for dance in their life. We believe that no matter the degree of each child’s dance goals, discovering movement should be nothing but empowering. We strive to teach our dancers to be creative, physically fit, flexible, confident, and artistic. Classes will be divided into levels. Level One - 3 year olds and 4 year olds new to the program. Level Two - 4 year olds with a year of experience and 5 year olds; Level Three - 6 year olds and up.

Private dance lessons are also available. Adult classes will be held when interest is shown!

Gymnastics classes are offered for 4-year olds and up in 8-week sessions. Basic tumbling, low-beam, vault & swing bar skills are taught as well as movement to music, balance and coordination. Students will be divided into ability levels by the instructor. Classes are held on Monday evenings starting September 18.

Each spring we present all of our dancers and gymnasts in recitals. These recitals are fully costumed and are open to the public. Dancers will order costumes for the recital in late December. The gymnasts will order costumes in February. There will be an extra charge for the costumes, we do try to keep the prices as low as possible.

Financial Aid is offered to families with low incomes or special needs through grants from the Laura Jane Musser Fund; the Minnesota State Arts Board; Five Wings Arts Council; Mille Band of Ojibwe; Pine Country Bank; Morrison County Foundation; and private donations. You may call and request a form or stop into the office.  Financial aid will pay half the cost of the tuition.
